Redefining an Image

Looking into this project I was flown through a loop. As I thought and dug some more I came to see it’s simple if you understand. A “picture” isn’t something you have to capture it can be a perfect sunset or how a show can be placed in such an abstract unpredictable fashion that if you placed a frame around it BAM it’s a picture. Photos are just visual expression of what an Artist is trying to covey in his or hers message, but even then it could get lost in translation of the viewers eyes.

1. Detail- This butterfly had to do though a transition to become a beautiful bug. The food it got nourishment from are right in the wings.

2. Frame- It’s almost as the window was placed there so perfectly it became a live photo.

3. The Thing-This is mouse my cat. She’s just a cat and I tell her everyday.

4. Time- You see time pass in this, you see it in the roof of this house. If this house could speak the stories it holds would be unimaginable.

5. Vintage Point- you see the openings into the center. Each step you see a different perspective into the center but, it’s still in the middle of it all.

Photo Without a Camera- This has all the elements of being present in the now with the edge time passing. This picture honestly represents a lot of the aspects of of Johns thoughts in my opinion.
